This is my final logo design that will be placed on the bottle to represent the brand collaboration. I designed one to go on the white (conditioner) bottle, which is the one shown above. As well as one to go on the black (shampoo) bottle, which is the same as this, however the writing is white instead of black, so that it shows up better on the bottle.
I kept the original TRESSemme and Lacoste, as I thought people would identify with the brand more. If I created a whole new logo, especially if I didn’t keep the original TRESemme logo, I think less people would buy it as they wouldn’t be able to identify with the brand straight away.
I created my own logo for the “Think Pink Collection” though. I chose that name, as this is a collaboration to raise money for Breast cancer awareness and think pink is always a phrase related to breast cancer. Also because Lacoste’s collection is called the Pink Collection, so I put all the words together to create the Think Pink Collection. I used that particular font, as it is the font that TRESemme use. I used the breast cancer ribbon and pink letters to frame the word and emphasise the fact that Lacoste and TRESemme are collaboration to support breast cancer research.
This is the limited edition logo that I created. Again I designed one for the black bottle and one for the white bottle. I had to place the BCRF logo on the bottle somewhere, as the consumers need to know what/who they are supporting by buying this particular product. I decided to add the words ‘limited edition’ to try and make the audience more excited and more encouraged to by it.
